Chase Carroll

This might just be the best horror movie of 2026. Inde Navarrette stole the show with her amazing performance. From her body language to her facial expressions, this movie wouldn't be half as amazing without her. Obsession was deeply unsettling and terrifying. An instant addition to my physical media collection when the BluRay drops.

I tried so hard but this movie ultimately bored me. At the very least, it helped me discover that I seem to only enjoy the spooky Tim Burton movies. One star for Ewan McGregor, a half star for the visuals.

This movie was absolutely terrifying. I feel so heartbroken for Laura, horrifed that this was a true story, and thankful her story led to laws being made to protect victims. I will never forget my pepperspray at home ever again.

More like Boogey-they/them, amiright?
