Idk what else can be said about 2001 honestly.  It slaps. Just does. A 5 star movie that if you said you hated it, I could not argue that you’re wrong.  It’s beautiful to look at, and the effects are stellar for it being made in 1968, but yeah man it’s SLOW. I’d compare it to a moving art exhibit with a story loosely connecting the journey

90 minutes of overacting.  Having Amazon put out a pro AI movie is dirty and reeks of corporate interference.  Chris Pratt sucks so bad at any kind of acting that doesn’t require comedy or a gun.  No AI justice system would ever try to be this helpful.   Rebecca Ferguson did serve absolute face so that’s where the half star comes in.  It’s almost distracting.

Probably the best looking studio comedy I’ve ever seen.  The cast all works well together, and several jokes landed extremely well for it, an example being the constant reveals on the bridge.
