Summer Wars

I think it is very poetic that I pirated this movie with it being an analogy not only for the power of the internet but also monopolies, for this reason I think it’s also one to own physically due to the said monopolies being a fictional internet company that’s essentially wacky google. It’s impressive how within this analogy that came across so clearly was a cast of very fun characters and a family drama that could have been a movie within itself. Also why is half the initial d English cast in this movie? I find it funny how the conflict of this movie boiled down to the US department of war is stupid and had too much budget and they didn't know what to spend it on, Therefore they made a deal with an ai company that went horribly wrong. Sound familiar? sound prophetic? Huh I wonder why. Wait this came out in 2009, again how prophetic. 10/10 recommend this movie to all large orange dickwads making military deals, and everyone else
