Juno
A charming, witty, exquisitely written and oftentimes hilarious comfort flick.
This one gets a thumbs up from me because it’s one of me and my girlfriend’s shared favourites. I personally adore the film visually; it presents itself through a very welcoming and warm autumnal tint, and I find it to be one of the more underrated 35mm-shot 2000s films in terms of how it looks. It’s cutesy indie-folk aesthetic never seems forced or repetitive, creating a genuine and gentle atmosphere that contrasts perfectly with the chaotic events in Juno’s life.
Cool.
