Spider-Man

It’s the perfect superhero origin movie. Charming, corny in all the right ways, well acted and well written. The effects haven’t aged the best, but thankfully they are sparingly used. This was before most blockbusters adopted the practice of filming everything on a giant green screen, and the practical effects are all great. I particularly like the costume work, the Green Goblin looks a little silly but the Spider-Man costume is fucking perfect and timeless.
