The thing about LalaLand is that it absolutely did not deserve best picture in any way and it only took Moonlight’s perfect moment away The other thing about it is that people who barely watch genuine movies obsessed and obsess over it because it has really good cinematography and mild emotion and therefore trumps whatever little art they experience That said it’s still pretty good

Easy to get lost in the scale of sci fi but great job keeping it human  Gosling with an early best actor bid Rocky with an early best character of the year bid

Damn Brando was Shakespeare levels of ahead of his peers

I always want to hate Glen Powell’s content more than I do
