Training Day

it’s not what you know, it’s what you can prove  this film is just straight aura. the acting, the cinematography, the writing, the score, the symbolism. that shot of the back window with the hole lining up with alonzo’s head and not jake’s? peak cinema. the shot at the end with the main headlight off, and the smaller one all white and bright (contrasting the two characters)?? peak.  the dialogue at the end with the news broadcast? i had insane chills.  i don’t think there was anything about this that i would change.
