Shutter Island

Cinematic Masterpieces of Martin Scorsese This was such a great rewatch. After you know the twist you start to pick up on all the hints with dialogue and acting, like eye movement and body language. I believe that he knew he was Andrew at the end but didn’t want to know what he had done so thought the alternative of a lobotomy was better. Such an emotional ending. Great acting, plot and score. The score is so beautiful and emotional, it fits the tone so well. Overall an outstanding film. Scorsese Feature Films Ranked
