I wrote a review already, but this movie is a huge technical achievement for Christopher Nolan. I left the movie theater seriously impressed. Cillian Murphy was absolutely brilliant as Oppenheimer; his performance was so captivating. You can just tell the care that went into making this, and the quality of craftsmanship is impeccable. Every single goddamn actor in this ensemble cast did their role perfectly. Huge credit goes to Nolan for making such a haunting, beautiful, and thought-provoking film. This is as good as Biopics can truly get.

Where do I start with this one? I had really high expectations for The Holdovers, and it blew me out of the water. Paul Giamatti was amazing in this! Up there with one of my favorite performances of the year hands down. Our main three characters worked so well together. This movie is just so warm and inviting. It captures the holiday season very well. All around, an amazing time.

What a stunning and impressive directorial debut by Celine Song! Past Lives was truly mesmerizing from start to finish. The film uses the beautiful landscapes and scenery of Seoul and New York so effortlessly that it elevates the film tremendously. A beautiful romance film that tackles the concept of "What If" very well.

SECOND WATCH: The main thing that still holds this movie back for me is its structure. Of course, the visuals still rock, but what frustrates me the most is that the film still hasn’t resonated with me as much as I want it to, even after a second watch. (three and a half stars)

FIRST WATCH: I’m a huge Wes Anderson fan, but this movie just never clicked with me at all. On my first watch, I was left scratching my head and underwhelmed. It was hard for me to follow, and I just felt lost at some points due to its structure. I guess the point of this movie is to not overanalyze it. Unsurprisingly, the vibes in this movie were fantastic, and this is one of Wes Anderson’s most visually pleasing films. I’m eager to rewatch this at some point; I think there are a lot of things that I missed the first time around. We will see. (three stars)

SECOND WATCH: Wow, I definitely enjoyed Beau is Afraid significantly more the second time around. Ari Aster’s style of storytelling and filmmaking can be so disturbing and shocking at times, but it never fails to fascinate me. I picked up on a lot more of the small details and much of the subtle humor on this rewatch. Again, Joaquin Phoenix’s performance in this is seriously impressive, and it still holds up for me very well. The man acted his ass off in this one. His performance was so captivating to me and it helped me stay engaged throughout the whole three-hour runtime. On rewatch, this movie still doesn’t make complete sense to me yet, but that’s the effect and charm that Ari Aster’s films have on you once the credits start rolling. (four and a half stars)

FIRST WATCH: This was a truly nightmarish and anxiety-filled experience for me at the theater. It will definitely take some time to digest this beast of a film. Ari Aster never fails to make me feel terrifyingly uncomfortable. This 3-hour fever dream is way too overwhelming on first watch, and it desperately needs a rewatch soon to appreciate it more. There were parts I did enjoy. Beau was definitely afraid, and so was I. (two and a half stars)

SECOND WATCH: I’m stunned. I was really able to appreciate the beauty of this movie a lot more on a second viewing. Again, the animation is absolutely breathtaking. The scenes between Gwen and her dad hit me so much harder emotionally the second time around. The soundtrack absolutely slaps. Truly a special film. I'm itching for Beyond The Spider-Verse to come out, man. (five stars)

FIRST WATCH: To no one's surprise, Across the Spider-Verse was truly a blast from start to finish. The Sony Animation Team never fails to create a visual masterpiece. I really enjoyed the story in this movie, and the new characters worked effortlessly. I do personally believe that ITSV is a sliver above this movie just due to how iconic it is for me. The ATSV ending was crafted to perfection, and they delivered an extremely effective cliffhanger. I’m so happy that the sequel is on par with the original; this is shaping up to be the best Spider-Man trilogy. Overall, this movie was amazing, and I am extremely excited for Beyond the Spider-Verse. (four and a half stars)

1st Watch: An amazing send off to my absolute favorite Marvel Franchise, Thank you James Gunn. (four and a half stars)

2nd Watch: Even better rewatching it a second time. I may be biased since I love the Guardians so much, but this movie is a masterpiece to me. (five stars)

3rd Watch: I still love this movie with all my heart. Some minor diminishing marginal utility was in effect but it’s still awesome. (four and a half stars)

This was a great time, to be honest; it held up to my really high expectations. This movie raised the bar so high for what future action movies should strive to be. I’m forever grateful for the impact this franchise has had on the action genre. Chad Stahelski just gets it, man. Keanu I love you. Bravo to everyone involved in making this masterpiece of an action film!

Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise together simply don’t miss. I respect the hell out of Cruise because he doesn’t play around when it comes to summer blockbusters. This man is 61 years old and is putting his life on the line for our entertainment; you've got to respect it. I had so much fun with this, and even though it's part one, I was very satisfied by the end. I also have to shout out Hayley Atwell for completely stealing the show. That sequence going into the title card was one of my absolute favorites of the year so far. The score was absolutely tremendous; bravo to Lorne Balfe. It really helped add a level of intensity and immersion to the movie all throughout. I believe I still like Fallout and Rogue Nation more, but this movie still rocks. I cannot wait for Dead Reckoning Part Two!

"Air-tight" is the term I would definitely use to describe this beauty of a film. I was absolutely locked in from the very start of the opening credits until the very end. The score for this movie was impeccable; it beautifully complemented the vibe of the movie. Fincher absolutely cooked up a masterclass here.
WOW! All the praise goes to the RackaRacka twins. It is insane that their debut film is this good! I’ve never seen a horror movie quite like this. I was on edge the whole time, and I was captivated from start to finish. The ending was so well done as well. Again, huge credit goes to the RackaRacka twins for making such a banger of a horror film.

As more time passes, the brilliance of this movie becomes more evident to me. I liked the film a decent amount after I finished it but as I digest it more as time goes by, I can really appreciate the performances in this film. Charles Melton’s performance is one that will stick with you for some time. Very fascinating to see Natalie Portman’s character go down a rabbit hole of the art of acting and especially method acting. Was really impressed with this one for sure.

SECOND WATCH: I’m so grateful that my appreciation for this film increased after rewatching it. Obviously, one of the main things that makes this movie unique is its style. It is very vibrant and colorful, and the film showcases the beauty of London, which adds tremendously to the atmosphere of the film. I still really enjoy the ending as well; it’s very wholesome and heartfelt. It’s crazy to think that Rye Lane is a directorial debut for Raine Allen-Miller. (four stars)

FIRST WATCH: This reminded me a lot of Before Sunrise! I mean, it’s a feel-good love story; although I wasn’t really vibing with the first half, the second half did put a smile on my face. It’s a decent watch from this year but it wasn’t anything extraordinary to me unfortunately. (three stars)

Let me preface this by saying this is my first Makoto Shinkai film, and I really enjoyed it. I’m a sucker for adventure and fantasy movies, and when you combine that with a heartfelt story, there was no way I wasn’t going to enjoy this. I was in complete awe watching the gorgeous animation in Suzume. The attention to detail in this movie was second to none. I had an absolute blast with this movie, and I’m eager to dive into the rest of Shinkai’s filmography.

This docufilm was absolutely beautiful and extremely touching. I loved how they incorporated scenes from all his movies to provide a visual; I thought that was very creative, and it flowed effortlessly. The editing was superb. I never knew the story of Michael J. Fox, and this documentary felt very heartfelt while unpacking his unfortunate situation. This was a great watch, and it was a very well-made documentary about the inspiring story of Michael J. Fox!

I tend not to enjoy horror movies but I did have a good time watching this. The kills were very satisfying and the mother had no chill when it came to the insults lmao. I have to appreciate the insane gore and impressive special effects.

sooooooooooooooooo much blood.🩸

Ben Affleck as a director remains undefeated for me. The way he handles comedic elements is so effective. This movie features some phenomenal acting from the whole cast. Matt Damon and Jason Bateman were the standouts for me. Also, this film surprised me with how funny it was! Matt Damon and Chris Messina’s scene together was absolutely hysterical. A great crowd-pleaser is always a blast at the movie theater.

SECOND WATCH: Damn, this movie is actually awesome. I was severely mistaken the first time around. This film packs a punch; it’s raw and very authentic. The score in this movie is absolutely incredible. It gave the movie GTA heist vibes, and it definitely added to the stressful atmosphere. This movie being shot on film gives it such a gritty and realistic feel, which is very important when telling a story like this. Also, I appreciated the structure of the movie and how the unique stories of all the characters involved were slowly unraveled. After a rewatch, I definitely felt the tension and high stakes because any sudden error could mean the difference between life and death. How To Blow Up a Pipeline is a very solid, intense thriller that will keep you on edge throughout the whole runtime. (four stars)

FIRST WATCH: I went into this movie with really high expectations, and unfortunately, the movie fell short for me. The first half of the movie, the pacing was too slow for me, and I was struggling to stay invested. I know I’m in the minority with this rating, but I do have to give this movie credit for its unique story regarding the climate crisis. Sadly, I was just underwhelmed by the end. (three stars)

SECOND WATCH: Wow, I enjoyed this movie significantly more on a rewatch. A lot of the movie's themes, like letting go of the past, believing in yourself, and not giving up, were more prominent to me the second time around. My first watch at the theater was weird in general due to some severe weather conditions, which definitely affected my experience and caused me to miss some things. The humor was still very effective for me. I also enjoyed the characters a lot in this. Chris Pine as Edgin is just awesome, and his character has a nice charm that adds a lot to the movie. Regé-Jean Page as Xenk is just such a badass. I really wish we got to see more of him; he was one of the best things about the movie. After rewatching, I’m glad to inform that this is one of the best fantasy movies of the year! (three and a half stars)

FIRST WATCH: Overall, I had a good time with this. The beginning of the movie was very confusing to me due to how little I know about the dungeons and dragons lore. Later on, I did start to enjoy the journey with these characters. All in all, the humor and action helped deliver an entertaining time at the movies! (three stars)

SECOND WATCH: I had to be tripping after I watched this movie for the first time because I initially thought this was the worst Creed film out of the whole trilogy. Boy, was I mistaken. Upon rewatching, the thing that predominantly stood out to me was Michael B. Jordan’s style of direction. It’s very clear that he knows exactly what is necessary for these boxing films in the Rocky Universe. I now realize that excluding Rocky Balboa himself from this film was a great decision to show Creed’s growth as a man and a boxer. The emotional beats of the movie also became very apparent to me on a second viewing. Once again, I have to give massive credit to Michael B. Jordan for his director's debut. No one knows what is best for a Creed movie better than the man himself, Adonis Creed. (four stars)

FIRST WATCH: Unfortunately, this movie as a whole fell flat for me. This movie felt extremely different from the other movies in the trilogy. I know for some people the change worked, but for me it didn’t. I felt the absence of Rocky in this movie. I just felt so detached from the story because it felt so unrealistic compared to the other movies. Although, cinematically, this movie obviously provides the best fight scenes of the trilogy so far. I do have to give credit to Michael B. Jordan for his directorial debut. You can tell this man knows how to work from behind the camera as well. (three stars)

I absolutely loved Sofia Coppola’s direction and creative vision in this movie. This film just oozes style. It is very interesting to see this side of the Presley family after last year's Elvis from Baz Luhrmann. Cailee Spaeney and Jacob Elordi are fantastic in this, as both of them play their respective roles very convincingly. Beautifully crafted movie amidst the unfortunate circumstances.

this was indeed a wonderful story. wow this short film absolutely rocks! I’m so happy I finally enjoyed a Wes Anderson project once again. The production design and the whole cast was absolutely brilliant.

I’m truly surprised by how much I enjoyed Gran Turismo. I recall seeing the trailer in theaters for months, but it’s actually a good movie. I was completely fascinated by Jann Mardenborough’s story. I really enjoyed David Harbour’s performance in this as well. Not to be too filmy, bro, but I really enjoyed the way this movie was shot. The close-up and shaky shots were a nice touch. The sound design was absolutely impeccable. The only flaws I can really say are that it does start off a bit slow, but it picks up and never really lets off the gas. A really interesting underdog story that actually presents some highs and lows of reality, I was honestly really impressed by such a good product coming from PlayStation Productions and Sony!

Sanctuary was a pleasant surprise for me! During the first 30 minutes, I struggled to develop interest in the story, but once the second and third acts began, I was locked in. Christopher Abbot and Margaret Qualley absolutely crushed in these roles. Margaret Qualley delivers one of the most impressive performances I’ve seen so far this year. The steady-shifting power dynamics throughout the story were very captivating. This movie is a constant grudge match between these two characters and their obsession for control over each other. I've got to give props for the great direction in this movie because it is very entertaining for being in mainly one location.

What a pleasant surprise! I really didn’t expect Nimona to be this good. Chloë Grace Moretz was very impressive behind the mic. Her voice acting definitely elevated her character, and her performance was the clear standout for me. Riz Ahmed also does a good job with Ballister. Both actors have a nice chemistry on screen. The mix between a medieval and futuristic Blade Runner-esque setting was a really nice touch as well. In the end, this was a great watch, and I was definitely surprised with this type of quality coming from Netflix!

TMNT: Mutant Mayhem was a blast! Even though the plot is pretty basic, it’s filled with so much heart and humor. All the references scattered throughout were very cool as well. The dialogue was really funny at times. The art style of the animation was so refreshing. I love seeing how studios keep trying to innovate the art of animation as the years go on. The voice acting was incredible; everyone had great chemistry together. I’m definitely interested to see if they actually do keep these movies going.

I really appreciate the fresh approach that BlackBerry takes by examining a company’s rise to glory and its fall from grace. Both Glenn Howerton’s and Jay Baruchel’s performances were definitely the highlights for me in this movie because they both depicted the epitome of how greed can lead to your downfall. I've got to give props; this movie flew by due to its great pacing. This was a nice addition to the ever-growing corporate cinematic universe!

This was a huge improvement from Scream 5 in my opinion which makes me happy since I really enjoy this cast! The NYC atmosphere was a nice touch as well. I had a blast watching this, the twists were surprisingly effective and it left me very satisfied at the end.

This is a tough one for me, as I don’t know where this ranks for me. There’s a lot I enjoyed in this film and some stuff that lost me at some points. I have to say Ryan Gosling as Ken was brilliant. His onscreen presence was straight comedy. The set design in Barbie Land was incredible; every shot was very vibrant and eye-popping. The ‘I’m just Ken’ scene was my favorite part. Also, extra credit for The Snyder Cut joke. First half of Barbenheimer complete!

This was such a wholesome watch. Extremely humorous too, some jokes didn’t land but I was really digging the dry humor. You can just feel that this film is filled with so much heart. I wasn’t a theater kid but the themes of wanting a sense of belonging hit home. The movie lost me at some points but the ending was very sweet and beautiful. That touch of Post Malone was brilliant.

Lola Campbell and Harris Dickinson were absolutely incredible together on screen. Those last ten minutes absolutely broke me. Even though it’s on the shorter side, Charlotte Regan still crafts such an effective film about grief.

What can I say? This is a kids movie at the end of the day. I couldn’t expect too much from it which is a bummer because it does not mean that kids movies have to be extremely surface level! Puss in Boots is a great example of that. I will say that I do really appreciate all the effort that went into the animation and references. It did it’s goal of being very nostalgic. I just wish some scenes were more fleshed out and not at such a fast pace. Jack Black as Bowser was immaculate. Basically, I had a good time but this movie could’ve been sooooooo much better.

See, this is the Guy Ritchie that I know and love! Jake Gyllenhaal gets the job done like usual, and Dar Salim was a very pleasant surprise. The bond they shared on screen provided an interesting story that had me invested throughout the whole runtime. The action sequences were very well done. Overall, I liked this style of Guy Ritchie’s filmmaking way more than Operation Fortune. I had low expectations going into this because I thought it would be the typical war movie, but it surprisingly exceeded my expectations. This was a good watch!

I really enjoy movies that are about power struggles; it tends to make for a very interesting story. Fair Play gives me similar vibes to Sanctuary (2023). I will say that I think Sanctuary tackles this type of conflict better, in my opinion. The business jargon kind of muddled the story at times for me, but the acting and writing are very strong in this film. Hats off to both leads for giving great performances.

I actually did enjoy Blue Beetle quite a bit. Even though it has the same copied and pasted superhero tropes that we’ve seen a million times before, it at least puts a flare of Latino culture in it. I really enjoyed that part of the movie. You can really feel the importance of family all throughout this movie. Side note: George Lopez was absolutely fantastic in this; everyone in the family was. I'm not too familiar with the Blue Beetle character in general, but Xolo Maridueña was the perfect person to play this role. He actually brings personality to this character, and I really hope they use him again in the future of the DCU!

Tetris actually was one of my biggest surprises of the year! Taron Egerton delivered an incredible performance that helped me stay hooked the whole time. I need him in more projects immediately. Such a gem from this year.

John Boyega, Teyonah Parris, and Jamie Foxx absolutely rock in this! This movie wouldn’t have worked as well without these strong performances. Jamie Foxx as Slick Charles had me dying constantly. There is so much quirkiness in this movie, and it definitely has a 'Get Out' feel to it. I appreciate Netflix for releasing unique projects like this that don't just play it safe like a lot of movies these days. This movie did lose me a little bit in the second act, but this was a solid release from Netflix!

This movie started off super strong, but after the first act, it never really reaches the same heights. The one-take action sequence was awesome, but it carried this movie so hard. After that, it felt like the movie just kept going downhill. I definitely appreciated the action sequences in this movie, but the story was just so bland. I could care less for any of these characters except for Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake. I still like this movie a tad more than the first, but unfortunately, this basic story holds this movie back from being great.

When I saw the title of this documentary, I laughed because in what world are we going to call the NBA's greatest shooter ever "Underrated". To my surprise, I didn’t know how much adversity Stephen Curry faced in his college days. It was very inspiring to see his rise and his journey to becoming one of the best superstars in the NBA.

I was caught off guard by how depressing this movie was. I didn’t have high hopes for this because I thought A Man Called Otto would be pretty predictable, and it was for the most part. In a way, I enjoyed how heartfelt the ending was—a blend of a tearjerker and a happy ending. This movie is enjoyable for what it is. Nothing special, but not bad either.

I was not a fan of Searching, but Missing was a pleasant surprise for me. I held off on watching this for so long due to the sour taste that Searching left in my mouth. I preferred how they executed the behind-the-screen concept in this movie more than it’s predecessor. This story genuinely kept me curious throughout the whole runtime, and I was actually pleased with the payoff in this one!

I do usually enjoy coming-of-age stories, but I was so detached from this one in particular since I literally don’t relate to anything going on. On the other hand, I think Abby Ryder Fortson did a great job in this; she really captured the mind of a twelve-year-old girl and translated it effortlessly on screen. It’s a decent coming-of-age story with more positives than negatives, but ultimately I wasn’t moved by it like some others. Lastly, I knew I wasn’t the target audience for this, but I still wanted to give it a shot nonetheless.

I don’t know what I think when it comes to this movie to be honest. I know that there are so many divisive opinions on the movies of M. Night but I am so new to his filmography that I don’t have a compelling opinion on his work overall. This movie was so straight forward in the sense that I felt like it was just served on a silver platter to the viewer. I just wasn’t blown away by it like some other people. Unfortunately, it was just pretty forgettable to me. I have to applaud Dave Bautista for his performance because his character did keep me invested in the movie.

I enjoyed Sharper a good amount; I was really locked into the story in the first and second acts. This movie had twists galore, and I think it worked well for the most part. I think towards the end it does feel a little rushed, causing it to seem a tad bit convoluted. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed how they utilized Sebastian Stan in this movie; he was great in this role. Overall, I came into this movie with low expectations, and they were surprisingly exceeded! I have to give props to the cinematography and color grading; it was a chef's kiss!

WOW, Sydney Sweeney was incredible in this! Her performance in this movie impressed me a lot, and it definitely helped me stay engaged throughout the whole runtime. I also thought it was very cool how all the dialogue was taken right from the real recording; I thought it was very unique. I thought this movie was really good for what it was—a short yet really engaging thriller about a true story. It’s nothing crazy, but it’s still a solid watch, in my opinion.

EDIT: As time goes on, this movie has definitely soured for me. I love the second act, everything with Michael Keaton as Batman was awesome to see. It’s just the stuff before and after is not as strong unfortunately. It truly lost me in the third act with the multiverse clashes and the cameo fest.

I absolutely love the story of Flashpoint. It’s such a captivating plot line to me. This storyline could’ve been messed up so easily, but gladly, they did a decent job. Now, for Ezra Miller, we all know the controversy that they carry, but I have to give props because I think Miller really fits the character of the Flash very well. Look, the CGI is not the best; it’s very inconsistent, but it didn’t really take me out of the movie tremendously, unlike the majority of people. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience with this movie, and it surprisingly met my high expectations. This movie definitely has its flaws, but I still had a good time nonetheless.

As a lifelong Transformers fan, I thought this movie was average; it doesn’t reinvent the wheel by any means, but it is also not an unwelcome entry into the franchise. I really wish in these movies they would focus on the robots way more than the humans. This movie shines when the Transformers are the main focus. Surprisingly, I really appreciated Pete Davidson as Mirage in this. I thought he would be cheesy, but he was definitely the standout for me. The final battle was pretty entertaining and well done, in my opinion. Overall, I had a decent time. This movie does have its issues, but they didn’t hinder my enjoyment at all. It's fine; nothing special or insanely memorable.

Edit: The more time has passed and the more I think about it, the less fond I am of it.

Unfortunately, I barely found myself laughing at any of the jokes in this movie. I spent most of the time cringing due to Andrew Barth Feldman’s super-accurate performance as an awkward, introverted 19-year-old. On the contrary, Jennifer Lawrence is a force in this. She carried this movie on her back. I mainly watched this for her lmao. I felt like the movie focused too much on its emotional scenes at times, causing the comedy to be very lackluster for me personally. I was expecting a funnier movie, and it fell short for me.

I was very worried for a moment because I really did not enjoy the first and second acts of this movie. The humor in this was very dodgy to me because it’s clear that I’m not the target audience for this, but the third act really saved this movie for me. Once the story got going and the twists were unveiled, I was completely on board. The last 50 minutes were quite enjoyable, and it definitely redeemed the movie for me. Priya Kansara was great in this, and she deserves way more roles ASAP.

This movie was fine. I just had a tough time staying invested due to its pacing. I understand that this is supposed to be a raw and emotional movie, but I just couldn’t stay connected to it. The film started off strong, but it began to drag towards the second half of the movie. Regrettably, by the time the end credits started to roll, I felt very bummed out and unsatisfied.

my thoughts on this movie summed up:
https://youtu.be/eqSOaH-lGzg

This movie disappointed me with how slow it was. It has some real pacing issues in the first and second acts. I thought John Wick had some really ridiculous action, but the action sequences in this film were absurd. Unlike John Wick, the action in this was very underwhelming. This movie has a severe lack of dialogue and very sparse action scenes. It’s unfortunate because the marketing for this movie made it seem like a nonstop WW2 action movie, but it really wasn’t. I will give it credit for its brutal gore, but I felt like this movie was trying so hard to make its protagonist seem badass, which in the end did not work for me.

I went into this movie blind, and I was caught off guard by how over the top it was. Tonally, this movie is all over the place. Bottoms is really goofy, but most of the time the humor worked for me. Marshawn Lynch was actually pretty solid as well. The final battle was genuinely hilarious. Ayo Edebiri and Rachel Sennott are an amazing duo that we need more of!

“Dumb Money” has some issues here and there but what I will say is that it’s so ridiculous I have to respect it. I did not expect this film to make me laugh so much as well. Unfortunately, I thought this was just average, nothing crazy direction and filmmaking wise.

I need Pete Davidson in more projects ASAP he is comedic gold, I don’t care.

Sadly, The Blackening left me feeling a little underwhelmed. I thought I was in store for a really funny movie, but unfortunately, I rarely laughed at any of the jokes. The Clifton character was the funniest part of this movie for me; his smart ass and witty comments had me dying. I understand what the movie is trying to do by being campy and cheesy at times, but I feel like it leans too much into its parody side for me, which makes it difficult for me to stay invested at times. This movie was just painfully average to me, and the comedy was lackluster, which significantly affected my enjoyment.

This movie is definitely not as bad as everyone says it is but it’s not that good either. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the debut of Kang at all. The character has so much potential and I felt like they just completely missed the mark in this. I didn’t care about his story or character at all in this movie, which is concerning since he is the next “big bad”.

There are some great themes and messages to take away from this film, but I just thought the execution was eh. I really enjoyed the new animation style from Pixar, but story-wise, this is as surface-level as it gets. I believe they could’ve made a more impactful story with these themes of generational pressure and self-identity. I also thought that the pacing of the film was really fast, which took away a lot of the emotion that they were trying to convey in some scenes. Ultimately, I thought Elemental was a pretty standard middle-of-the-pack film, which seems to be the unfortunate trend for Pixar these days.

It’s not a terrible movie by any means, but I didn’t enjoy it at all. I didn’t care for or connect with any of these characters at all. Maybe I missed the point of the movie; I don’t know. Oh well, this movie just wasn’t my cup of tea. It still has some redeeming qualities, though. It was just pretty underwhelming and forgettable to me.

Just a miss for me, unfortunately.

Joel Edgerton gives a really solid performance in this that definitely keeps the movie somewhat interesting at times. Master Gardener has a cool premise but it’s a little to aimless for my taste.

Yeahhhh, this movie did not resonate with me whatsoever. This just felt so barebones. I was massively disappointed by the pacing of the movie; it was painfully slow. Unfortunately, once it was over, I just felt so underwhelmed.

You know what? This wasn’t too bad at all. I was expecting this to be way worse. The script is unbearably cringe and cheesy but this movie was able to maintain my attention all throughout. Pretty forgettable and unnecessary remake, but I didn’t hate it.

I actually was enjoying this movie during the first half but the second half was just mid to be honest. This felt very surface level and it felt like it was held back by its rating. This movie could’ve used more violence to make M3GAN scarier but the end product was just very underwhelming to me.

I was actually surprised by how much I didn’t enjoy this movie. I’ve been a fan of the Fast and Furious movies all my life, so I could always handle the unrealistic action and lacking story, but this was different for me. It’s obvious that this franchise has been on the decline ever since Paul Walker passed. I literally couldn’t take anyone seriously in this movie; it was absurd. Jason Momoa was extremely goofy in this role. There was plenty of action, but it felt so lifeless and half-assed compared to other action movies. I've accepted that the purpose of this franchise isn't to produce something life-changing or creative, but it still amazes me how each new product gets progressively worse. As a lifelong fan, it’s sad to see that the charm and spark of these movies are finally starting to run out.

Don’t have many thoughts on this movie. It was just a whole lot of nothing. It left me pissed off because it is one of the most generic movies that I’ve ever seen. It felt like an AI bot made this movie. Which is a bummer because I do like Guy Ritchie’s other work.

Extremely generic superhero movie with bad CGI. At this point, I feel like the bar and expectations for superhero movies are so high that this literally does nothing for the genre. I do have to give it some credit for being funny at times, though.

Pretty forgettable and unnecessary remake once again. Halle Bailey was decent, but I just didn’t care about anything going on in this movie. Some of the songs were enjoyable. Again, Awkwafina as Scuttle ruins this movie; my gosh, she is so annoying in this and Javier Bardem looked so goofy. I'm not a fan, to be honest; I'm not sure what Disney thought they were cooking here.

Honestly, this movie wasn’t that bad. It has a great message of self-worth, and it’s a decent feel-good story. It’s very below average, and in my opinion, there are way more entries in the Corporate Cinematic Universe from this year that were done way better. I will say that my enjoyment of this was hindered a little when I learned that this story might not be accurate at all.

I mean, I knew what I was getting myself into by watching a movie called Plane lmao. Yet I still felt a little disappointed after it was done. I thought this movie would have more action, but I was mistaken. The enemies were extremely forgettable. The second act was pretty slow, but it picked up at the very end. I’ll give it credit for the good action sequences in the third act, but I can’t really praise it any more than that. It's not a terrible movie, but I know I’ll forget all about it in a couple days.

Nahhhh, Dial of Destiny was so underwhelming to me. It was advertised as Indy's last ride, and it just wasn’t executed well enough, in my opinion. The Indiana Jones movies were a huge part of my childhood, and this movie just feels like a disservice to the iconic character. I can’t believe how lackluster that ending was! No need for it to be almost 3 hours long as well. It's always great to see Harrison Ford, but this just wasn’t it, unfortunately.

I’m really not sure how I managed to stay awake while I was watching this. The majority of the movie was very boring to me. I’m not going to lie; this was a slog to get through. I just had an extreme lack of interest in everything going on. This movie suffered from extreme pacing issues. I was questioning myself after an hour about whether I even wanted to finish this or not. Everything seemed so dull except for the performances of Christian Bale and Harry Melling, but they couldn't even save the movie for me. The last thirty minutes of the movie were the only entertaining part, in my opinion. To say I was disappointed and unsatisfied by the end would be an understatement.

This movie just didn’t know what it wanted to be. This felt like a mesh between two different stories, which made it feel very messy. The effects were very questionable and lackluster. Awkwafina’s subplot was so uninteresting that it felt so out of place with everything else that was going on. I wasn’t really impressed with Nicolas Cage as Dracula either, which is unfortunate. I did enjoy Nicholas Hoult in this movie, though, for whatever that’s worth. I get that it’s supposed to be campy, but that doesn’t excuse it from being a pretty ass movie.
