*How can you not be romantic about baseball?* Sell the team.

Definitely has its moments, especially when Hartnett decides to not fuck around and actually lock in. The third act is pretty good, especially the last 20 minutes. But the first act and a half are just so terrible that it doesn’t really matter. M Night has no idea how to write dialogue and Hartnett’s performance in the first half doesn’t help at all. They should let him try Avatar again. Maybe it’ll be better this time.

Some parts drag a little, and the messaging can be heavy handed at times, but Pixar just keeps churning out good ones. The messaging came around to have some great points, and great reminders even for viewers outside the target age range. Animation looks great, though the humans are still a little lackluster. Bringing back Woody felt like an unneccessary choice, because TS4 felt like enough closure for him. With the fact that this movie focuses primarily on Jessie, Woody's presence drew focus from her and the closure she gets (which is done really well imo, even if its a little corny).
