Moonlight

Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight is nothing short of brilliance. A wonderful character study of how man is suppressed of his emotion through the oppression he faces around him. The trauma that builds towards a lack of love for anyone. The film various time jumps displays how little has changed around Chiron’s sense of love and affection for others. His silence throughout the movie is impactful and resonates with the viewer. The final scene while brief still holds a lot of weight and impact. Just a wonderful and beautiful story.
