Oppenheimer
To say this is Christopher Nolan’s best work is an understatement. Oppenheimer was his most important and impactful work.
A tight script paired with masterful dialogue and performances. Cillian Murphy cemented himself as a household name. Putting on a show stopping performance that is not only compelling but devastating and tragic. The final minute of the movie is chilling and horrifying. Showing us what can happen with Oppenheimer’s creation.
Some of my complaints about the movie is the pacing and narrative structure makes it hard to follow from time to time. Jumping one scene from another without giving scenes time to develop. The narrative structure is choppy at times in the beginning as I couldn’t out what was happening until the third of the movie. Overall, the movie was fantastic and it lives up to the hype.
