“I’m lost in the world, been down my whole life” Kanye to me will always be my favourite music artist ever listened to in my 21 years of living. His craft, vision and consistency is some of the best our generation. being able to influence waves of rappers and innovating sounds that used in some of your favorite hip hop songs. While Kanye has the best discography for any hip hop artist, I would like to mention his most iconic and infamous album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Not only it’s one of the best hip hops albums of all time, I think it can be considered as one of the best musical albums ever made in the 21st century. It’s unapologetic message paired with great production and songwriting is some of Kanye’s best. An album with a backstory that is as great as the music. A generational album to say the least. As much as I love Kanye’s music, his irrational behaviour is something I can’t look away. Even as a hardcore Kanye fan, I don’t agree with his sentiments over the past few years. It hurts to see a man of such talents puts himself into erratic situations. Every time I listen to Kanye’s music nowadays I could not stop thinking of what has occurred. Even with the obscurity of Kanye as a person, you can never deny his talents as a musician. WAKE UP MR WEST!!!!
