Silence

I remember watching this in my senior year of high school. At the time I completely abandoned my faith. I did follow Christianity in my younger years.  It was hard for me to follow back to my religion and it made me question the whole existence of god and why he never sent his holy son for the second time. This film reminded me of my own journey with god. I was once a follower of Christ and now I’ve abandoned the person who truly knew who I was.  Scorsese told a story that was personal and introspective. A spiritual journey that I could resonate and connect. The movie serves as a beautiful reminder that is okay to question your faith once in a while but always find the time to recover your connection with Christ. He is the person who truly knows and cares for you. Thank you Scorsese for this personal story
