Jaws

I watched it in theaters for the 50th anniversary and it did not disappoint. It is an insane movie for its time. “We need a bigger boat” is such a classic line. I saw this movie for the first time when I was like 8 on a beach trip and I was terrified. Seeing the movie for the first time since like when I was 12 enlightened the same fear that I had when I was that age. It feels like I’m watching the movie for the first time every time I watch it. Perfect movie that is hard to disappoint anyone! Spielberg delivered on everything here. The iconic score from John Williams just ties this movie together. Every time that score starts playing your heart starts racing. Spielberg is such a phenomenal director and the fact that he made this film at 27 is absolutely amazing. When I was in third grade I used to be obsessed with Spielberg. He’s no longer my favorite director, but is still up there and this movie proves that.
