At first seems like just some weird imagery that is very typical by Lynch. Movie felt like it was made to be ugly, to be disturbing, to creep out the audience, but Lynch means something else. Lynch does a great job of capturing his fear, his terror of becoming a father, it's something that you wouldn't notice if you would just watch and try to understand what's happening in-front of you. This is my fourth Lynch's movie and I really get a feeling that to get his movies, what he tries to portray you need to view it as a bigger picture. Not to focus on a singular detail or a singular scene but understand how exactly it correlates. what's the theme and what's the point of the movie -- and then try to understand specific moments.
