Indecent Proposal

“Have I told you I love you? No. I still do.” There’s a lot more here than its premise would suggest: expression through architecture, interesting directorial choices (that hippo scene! Cmon), the predatory nature of banks, etc. The top two reasons for divorce are finances and communication and I think this movie explores them both in a unique way. Definitely solidified erotic thrillers as my favorite genre.
