Red Rocket

Absolutely fantastic, it feels like it's saying so much with such a simple premise. The prejudices of the porn industry and its ability to chew up and spit out young women, a disgusting look at the male gaze, the issues with Trump's america, the socio-economic positions of those in Red States. No matter where you look there's something to dissect and analyse, with multiple viewings definitely being necessary. Sean Baker creates another masterful portrayal of people underdemonstrated in the film industry, and their humanistic traits create for a very accurate look into the human condition.
