A good movie that I just wish was a bit longer and wasn’t an MCU film. No rushed CGI, no adherence to the Marvel formula, or need to get it under two hours. Let this creative team be completely unhinged and include even more wacky Jack Kirby elements from the comics. What we get here is fantastic ;) comic book silliness. Some really solid casting, great production design, and a wonderful Michael Giacchino score. A damn good film that left me wanting more, which is more than I can say for most Marvel movies. Also, it weirdly reminded me of Ghostbusters 2. I can’t be the only one who thinks this but then again, this is me making yet another Ghostbusters connection.

Who knew a live action Incredibles would break the Disney remake curse

I must be psychotic because I thought this wasn’t gory or fucked up enough. It’s a very fun horror film, but one that doesn’t quite go all the way with its premise or is brave enough to be off putting to its audience with its gore and body horror.
