I've never been this bored in my life

> *"The smaller the attendance the bigger the history. There were 12 people at the last supper. Half a dozen at Kitty Hawk. Archimedes was on his own in the bath."*Love to see a time where people were only in it for the music (and maybe the drugs afterwards). This was really funny and interesting, I have no idea if it is actually accurate or not but it doesn't matter cuz I think it was excellent. I kinda of liked the first part most because of Joy Division and everything, but that's not to say the rest after that wasn't still entertaining. It's weird whenever I watch something so chaotically British I go "ah yes this is my culture"

> **"This is life, not heaven. You don't have to be perfect"**

> "I like to look for things no one else catches."The first time I ever watched this I only got to halfway through the film and never finished it. My dad put it on and I think at the scene where Georgette and Joseph go in the bathroom my mum turned it off because that was a bit too much for a 9 year old. Anyways this film has always been on my mind since then but I'd never watched it in its entirety until now, and I'm so happy I did. This film is so whimsical and heartwarming. Amelie is a character I relate to a lot and I think it's really beautiful that a character focuses so much on finding beauty in small details, love, and helping others. I will be rewatching this film every time I need a reminder to appreciate the little pleasures in life.
