Wonder Man

Wonder Man is surprisingly great because it actually focuses on the people, not just the powers. It feels more interested in what it means for ordinary humans to suddenly exist in this larger superhero world instead of just throwing characters in suits and letting them punch things. The real highlight is the completely unexpected pairing of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley. On paper it sounds bizarre, but their chemistry is fantastic and they are genuinely hilarious together. Weird, funny, and way more character driven than I expected. Two thumbs up from me. 👍👍
