nobody:  english spies whenever someone is born outside of the london banana belt: HE COMES FROM THE SHADOWS this movie really does aggravate class divide without even intending to do so. just aristocrats running around being trigger happy.  anyway javier, mi cariño, cielo, miel, todo así. sigue siendo tu mismo. nunca cambies. this guy’s versatility knows no bounds. what a living legend. accidentally (maybe criminally) conflated this w spectre and thought they were the same thing. obv the cgi in here can be noticeably abhorrent, and there are a couple of times where you just asked yourself why he had to look cool rather than save himself and everyone else, but overall yh, back to checking off all the bond criteria boxes. fair dos, mr mendes

some scenes like the initial car chase and the main event in the middle were fun. but overall, fairly boring and it couldn’t ever get going. tbh idek what ryan gosling brings to this role. a lot of people could’ve done it. carey mulligan was a bit better, but oscar isaac as usual was a shining star whenever present on the screen. also what a waste of a race car. really thought it would be cruel justice to kill him in a cool manner with the car he’d built.
