Foxcatcher
I watched this last night, and it completely blew me away.
The performances are just incredible. Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo all disappear into their roles. Carell, especially, is haunting as John du Pont. The film's slow, deliberate pace adds to the tension, making every scene feel loaded with unease. It’s not an easy watch, but the way it explores themes of power, control, and loneliness is really compelling. The cinematography is also top-notch. If you’re into intense dramas based on true stories, Foxcatcher is definitely a must-see. It’s a film that doesn’t try to rush anything, letting the story unfold in a way that feels natural yet deeply unsettling. Highly recommended.
