It’s a freaking masterpiece.
The amount of what the fuck moments in the film and the amount of what the fuck I said while watching it is just insane.
The direction is now one of my favorites. The characters - Alex, Marcus, Archer, Justine, and that other guy - were mind-blowing. The way the director handled the pacing, tension, and story was just brilliant.
The acting was also absolutely brilliant -every character felt alive, intense, and perfectly cast.
I think this is the first film that had me going crazy the entire time in theatres. The storytelling is short, sharp, and unpredictable -I never saw what was coming next.
It’s such a unique, amazing horror-thriller without any actual ghosts. And yet, it’s scarier and more intense than most horror movies out there.
Simply brilliant.
