An all time performance from Kinski combined with some of the most riveting aesthetic’s, top cinematography and a delightful soundtrack should be an easy recipe for an atg film but for some reason it fails to evoke that feeling in me. I can’t pinpoint whether it was the somewhat stilted acting by everyone else or the underwhelming plot but it felt like was a 1 man team with Kinksi doing his best 18 Bron impression.

this movie thinks it’s a modern day classic

Overall the film is decent, touched on some interesting concepts, narrative sequencing was neat did a very good job at creating an illogical bias against a character. Did feel as if the movie could’ve delved deeper into what was trying to be portrayed but the character work and directing compensated for it in spades especially Zendaya, 2017 Dybala level performance. Also, S/o Haim an excellent performance in portraying the literal manifestation of cancel culture to a tea - the funny thing is I wasn’t initially moved from her performance but the more I thought about it, the more I despised Rachel, a true enemy of progress at every corner.
