Summer Interlude

Is it as tragic as all that? Liked ‘Summer Interlude’ pacing better than ‘Persona’ although I believe myself to need a rewatch. Grief, love, nostalgia and one’s relationship with expressing their feelings to the outer world so people that care about us can help us when needed. While I do not believe that Maria and Henrik were as in love as they acted to be (I fully think it was mutual idealisation, at least for the most of it. Which just makes the film more interesting). This doesn’t erase the fact that there was something else in between them, merely as important as love. great film!!
