I really wanted to like it more. Still a pretty good movie. Agnes was the best character.> *“Everyone's mad at dad, huh?”*

Visually stunning. The science and logic were a little irrational but it’s a sci-FI. Wholesome and entertaining nevertheless. Also Eric Tao with a Chinese accent. > *“Words of encouragement”*

William Shakespeare is that mfer for a reason. Jessie Buckley might have had the best performance I’ve seen since *A Portrait of a Lady on Fire*. Absolutely brilliant. Paul Mescal… I’m impressed. The son though — there should be a best child aactor/actress award for performances like this. Chloe Zhao. Without a doubt in my mind, you deserved Best Picture for this film. The final scene is up there with the best of all time. > *“I’ll be brave, Father.”*> *“You did everything that you could.”* > *“Of course I did. You weren’t here. I would have cut my heart and given it to him. I would have laid my life down on the ground for him.”*

Wow the cinematography surprised me, some of the shots look straight from of a film camera — fitting. Jesse Plemons also kinda looks like Matt Damon. Emma Stone delivered a psychological masterclass. Hilarious. > *“It’s too many diverses. Can we try diversifying the language a little bit?”*
