The Departed

Holy shit The Depahted might be the best thing ever This was absolute cinema, could not tell how the film would end or progress and that kept my eyes glued to my screen, despite the 2 hour and 30 minute run time. I literally have no words, except this movie was absolutely peak. So many plot twists hit you like a freight train in such little time, the ending had my mind blown, came out of nowhere.  All the performances were immaculate, Wahlberg, Dicaprio, Damon, Nicholson, and Sheen all embodied their roles to the point where this was utter perfection. The Boston accent here is absolutely legendary Each scene and plot point was so clever, especially the ending/ last frame. Multiple times throughout the movie I audibly said “Holy shit.” Such an easy watch to show someone, definitely easy to recommend. I’ll be thinking about this one for a while. “What are you one of those health nuts? Go fuck yourself.“
