Before Midnight
By far the most grounded of the trilogy - a sobering but necessary conclusion.
It pulls you away from the dreamlike idealism of the first two films and smacks you with the raw reality of long-term relationships.
While the scenes without Jesse and Celine as the sole focus felt slightly less engaging, the script and performances are easily my favourite of the three.
I’ll definitely be revisiting the full trilogy soon; masterpiece!
