Charade
This is such a beautiful movie. It was so unpredictable and the twists and turns messed with my head. It felt like I was watching interstellar and inception at the same time but directed by Alfred Hitchcock. I had a bit of a headache for a couple seconds, but now I’m fine. The first thing I noticed when watching this movie was the incredible theme song it had. It was kind of like a James Bond theme, but also had characteristics of Hitchcock’s scores. Next, I want to say, Cary Grant. He is an absolute phenomenal, fine specimen. And Audrey Hepburn is such a beautiful, lovely darling. All the twists and the turns and the witty dialogue tickled my brain. I watched this movie thanks to a random cinephile I watched on Instagram. She was talking about classical Hollywood movies and she mentioned that this was a really good one so I watched it and boy oh boy, my mind is blown. It’s one of those films where the romance is just as good as the other genres inside. Really really really genius thinking and I would’ve probably fought for that role or literally any of the main rules inside this movie because it is actually that great. And this just shows how stupid and naïve I am. I actually believed every single story Broski said.
