Boyhood

I’d like to preface this review with Boyhood (2014) is my favorite film of all time. Richard Linklater perfectly captures the beauty of growing up as a male in the 2000s. The heart of this film is the memories that get resurrected in your head from watching Mason and Samantha grow up and experience the most glorious parts of childhood. Being filmed over twelve years clearly makes this a passion project, and is very passionate of the message “time doesn’t stop for anyone”.
