This the best film ever made. Im actually blown away once again. So perfect. Like actually flawless if you hate on this you are actually just a straight dickhead. Matt Johnson man, what a fucking guy

I was entertained, until it was just a remake of 1408, for what it is, it’s pretty decent, but I felt like I was rewatching 1408 but instead of John Cusack and Sam Jackson, it was Adam Scott and Peter Coonan. Really well acted, some cool cinematography, i just thought I was walking in to something completely original, and left quite disappointed, horrible cinema etiquette from people as well, definitely hindered my experience. It’s not bad, there is a lot of people who will love this, as it’s actually not a bad film whatsoever, just found it boring because I felt like I’ve seen it before. Some story beats were soooo overused, the ringing of the bell was genuinely pissing me the fuck off it was happening literally every two minutes just so they could get a cool shot, yeah it was relevant to the story but shit man it didnt need to be utilised that much. Overall, good, but lacking originality for me.

Actually peak cinema, watched the directors cut this time round. Very interesting, idk if I prefer it or not, some cool scenes that aren’t in the theatrical cut but thats about it.
