Marrowbone
“There will be no memories. It all starts here. Our story begins here. When we cross that line, the past will stay behind.”
So do I cry or be scared? Marrowbone is nothing short of superb and gut-wrenching. Its horror does not lie within ghosts or monsters, rather, it’s about the imprint they leave on those left behind. If anything, it’s more of a tragedy, an ode to everyone Jack has lost and never quite let go of. A heartbreaking reminder that not all that haunts us are ghosts.
