Pan's Labyrinth

Watching this as a child, I thought it was some kind of horrific Alice type of story in which Ofelia was living her scary little adventures. Now as an adult, I really think this little girl was totally delusional and was trying to escape the harshness of her world using her imagination. It’s a much sadder vision of the movie but one that resonates more with me.
