Mission: Impossible - Fallout
“Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to prevent the Apostles, a splinter faction of the Syndicate, from acquiring three plutonium cores.”
Mission: Impossible - Fallout might just be the best action film ever made. This seriously is the pinnacle of the franchise. It takes everything that the franchise has learned from previous installments and delivers a masterclass of a cinematic experience. Villains finally feel interesting in the franchise, Henry Cavill does great in this role. And once again Tom Cruise out does himself with upping the ante on stunts and action. Bro had to pull out that Top Gun ball knowledge for the final act. The team is maybe even the most stacked yet, with Isla getting a lot more screen time this time around. REBECCA FURGUSON. But man they really did Jeremy Renner’s character dirty, how is he not in this film whatsoever. Seeing Julia in this film was actually really surprising, I thought they for sure wrote her out entirely after Ghost Protocol.
This truly felt like a part two of Rogue Nation in the best possible way. It tied a nice bow on the syndicate plot line. Oh and that two hour and a half runtime FLYS by. Like it’s so well paced. It’s just honestly remarkable how this franchise has yet again reached greater heights. I sound repetitive, I know, but seriously this repetitiveness doesn’t even do it justice. I really had a spectacular time with this film.
