Sunset Boulevard

finally finishing this review…. an absolute fabulous black n white movie which those sometimes bore me and i did not think i’d like a noir as much as i did. this woman was a sugar mama! i loved the house decor and the way it showed us her vanity. since she was a silent film actress you could see each expression take over her whole body.  i had to perform a scene once that said « »i’m ready for my close up Mr. Demille » and now i know where it came from the betty/joe storyline was a little weak tbh. i would rather see them focus on the actual WRITING bc that movie sound good. if his ass went with her maybe he wouldn’t be floating in the pool. almost lost a star for that but the whole detaining scene with norma at the end threw any critiques out the window!
