The Butterfly Effect

i really prefer the theatrical ending with the crossing paths on the street. But the directors cut ending just makes more sense. It’s extremely dark and nihilistic but i feel like it fits better. When Evan goes to the fortune teller and she tells him he has no soul and isn’t meant to be here, and when his mother tells him that she had two still borns before him, and his father trying to kill him saying it would fix everything makes me think that this isn’t the first time it happens maybe the stillborns before had the same time travelling power and lived lives with consequences and tried to fix it in the end by suicide.  honestly this movie is so underrated and i would really like to see a prequel with evan’s father or grandfather it would be interesting.
