Why is the beginning so sad, even his kids don’t want to not see him. The little girl speaks with her full face. The kids have great taste who wants to do homework before dick van dyke. The dude looks like a lady montage is iconic. I enjoy that the comedy is mixed with the seriousness, the serious moments are allowed to breathe even if he is dressed up. I was going in thinking it was gonna be mostly jokes and comedy but instead I spent most of the 2 hours teary eyed.
