Maybe it's cuz i haven't taken my meds in a week but this movie felt very emotional and near and dear to my heart. The original movie meant so much to me as a kid so watching it now that i'm no longer a kid felt bittersweet, especially with the theme of the movie. I maybe cried a few times thinking about old friends and the fears that come along with growing up
