rewriting this cause i had the chance to see it last night and i’m shocked at how much it meant to me starting off by saying that i love luca’s work, he manages to capture my feelings better than many other directors do. BUT this is easily my favorite by him so far. in my opinion it’s more of a sheep to his other films as in it doesn’t remind me of challengers, cmbyn etc.  this was my most anticipated of the year even based off the cast and it didn’t disappoint at all, both the leads drew and daniel did an insane job capturing the characters. i was nervous when the early screening was played and alot of people i follow didn’t like it, calling it empty or bland, from the script to the cinematography this was actually such a captivating film from the start in my opinion at least, at times it did feel a little slow but i think that added to the film,  anyways!! i cried 4 times during the movie, and probably about 10 more that night, i am astonished and i’ll never recover!! easily going to my top 4 also this solos naked lunch if ur a burroughs fan (already going to see it again, i’m not normal!!)
