Stand by Me

I always come back to this movie and always will come back this to movie. The transcendent realism of being a preteen wrapped in a 50’s surburban town is such an incredible way to become nostalgic for a time you never knew you could be nostalgic for. The soundtrack is just impeccable and the overall aesthetic is just absolute peak. The best coming of age film no debate. Can’t wait to rewatch it again next year. I cannot fathom not giving this movie 5 stars. I love this movie and goddamit if it doesn’t love me
