La Chimera

This movie really reminds me of reading a Greek myth, with Josh O’Connor acting his ass off as our doomed, tragic hero. Visually stunning movie, though a good portion of that is probably just because of Italy’s beauty. A nice meditation on materialism (capitalism too but think materialism is what’s on the forefront). On top of all that this movie is fun with plenty of funny moments. I’m struggling to decide on 4 or 4.5 stars, but it’s late and I’m tired and this took my thoughts away from the packers pathetic loss tonight so I’m gonna go for the latter.
