Felt disrespectful to be able to watch this movie on tubi, so fucking good. The change in perspective floored me, and I’m not sure which half I like better but for such different reasons. The first half is addictingly chaotic and tense, you’re just waiting for that moment when it all is going to boil over and when that time comes, it’s done so well. The second half is an exploration of grief and forgiveness, with Taylor Russell giving a perfect performance. There’s resentment, there’s loss, there’s love and there’s forgiveness and I’m glad they spent as much time on the second half as they did. Soundtrack is laughable at times, I mean the Tyler the Creator needle drop made me chuckle in what was supposed to be a heavy scene
