Nosferatu

I am simply put blown away! It’s amazing what one can achieve when everybody involved in a project gives the project their all. The performances, set design, cinematography, everything here is simply put top notch. Going into this, I knew nothing about Dracula or Nosferatu, other than what is common knowledge, so I was not familiar with the Nosferatu story at all. I think this was greatly in my favor, as it probably added an additional layer of suspense whilst watching this. I saw a couple reviews criticizing the pacing in the second act, which I see where they’re coming from, but this was not an issue for me at all. I was at the edge of my seat for the entire runtime of the movie. Again, what a movie! Obviously deserved to be nominated way more at the Oscars, but the academy is a joke anyway so who cares.
