Silence
Lost between The Wolf of Wallstreet and The Irishman is Silence, one or Scorsese's most personal, unique and underappreciated movies.
It's understandable that faith-centered movies are not everybody's cup for tea, however I'd argue Silence might be among the easier ones to get into, simply because it doesn't demand a lot from its audience; you don't have to be of faith to appreciate the films story or message, in fact I think it might help understand religion more.
I could go on talking about the story, but I think you're better off watching the film, making your own takeaway from it. It's a deeply personal film and should be treated as such. Nothing but respect for Marty for making something this personal when he usually does not.
