It’s such a sweet, odd, satisfying and uplifting movie. The perfect mix of hipster and sophisticated elements. Always a delight watching this from time to time. Amélie is a character I relate to the most in film. Perfect balance of escapism, comfort with heartfelt themes. **This film shaped my taste in films and views in life. Absolutely life changing.

The score and cinematography in this are an absolute standout. Very immersive and a style like no other. My favourite film score hands down. Remember always be grateful through the simplest things in life! Being kind goes a long way! Stylistically the best rom com. I love how it's not like the traditional American rom coms (storytelling & filmmaking wise). I love how romance and comedy is shown in this film. A screenplay like no other. Montemarte/Paris is not shown in a glamorizing way but still shows beautiful shots of the city. Fav ending sequence EVER!
It’s been one of my favs growing up before I thought about favs. Thankful for tht random summer night I chose to watch a film in the yr I was born in. I'm glad this is the film that I grew up loving so much. A tradition to watch it every year. There's a reason why this is so popular everywhere not just for French cinema, but film as a whole. To me I see it as a modern classic. Timeless.
After all of the rewatches, it literally feels like a first watch💕I will never stop gushing about this film. It will stick with me for the rest of my life.
