The Prestige

Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale are the perfect cinematic duo. Science fiction and period drama are two genres that I wouldn't expect to love together. This film isn't worth spoiling. This is one of the less confusing Nolan films. This is my favourite Nolan film. It's underappreciated. It felt like watching this for the first time. An instant five stars and still five stars. I haven't watched smt ciNeMaTiC in ages. I cannot believe this is my second movie of the night. I haven't done a double cinematic feature for more than a year(?) It's basically rare for me now to watch ciNePhiLe things now. This was a perfect way to spend my weekend in a cozy living room with the fire and Christmas lights☕💫
