mid90s
I have loved this movie for 7 years now. Everything about it is real and raw and honest. You dont get your hand held. You take what you give. There’s so much to talk about. Strained family relationships, wanting to grow up too fast, peer pressure, seeing who you are change as you grow up and let back on limits on who you are, and the (what I had thought to be) unexplainable anger that came along with all of it. And the joy that skateboarding brings you. Watching this in a way feels like some of my most embarrassing and regretful moments have been captured on film, as well as some of my happiest.
