Warfare
Incredibly disturbing it personally made me nauseous, haunting, unforgettable film.
The movie Warfare (2025) uses gritty realism to show the unglamorous and harsh realities of war, focusing on the raw emotions, moral dilemmas, and physical hardships faced by soldiers. This approach avoids romanticizing combat, instead highlighting the psychological toll and the brutal consequences of violence.
(I hate when movies glorify War)
The unpredictability in the film reflects the chaotic nature of real-world warfare, where plans can quickly fall apart and outcomes are uncertain. This element keeps viewers on edge, mirroring the constant state of alert and uncertainty experienced by those in combat.
The combination of gritty realism and unpredictability makes Warfare (2025) a powerful and immersive experience because it captures the true essence of war, challenging viewers to confront the difficult truths and complexities of armed conflict. It doesn't make it "perfect," but these elements do make it a more authentic and thought-provoking portrayal.
Genuinely one of the best War films made.
