Ready Player One

100/100 “I was afraid for all my life, right up until the day I knew my life was ending. And that was when I realized that... as terrifying and painful as reality can be, it's also... the only place that... you can get a decent meal. Because, reality... is real.  -Halliday I love this movie sm, all of the clues for Halliday’s puzzle are the perfect combination of difficult, entertaining, but most importantly doesn’t make the movie drag on too long. Spielberg did a great job of pacing throughout the movie, no parts feel really slow and no parts feel really fast (unless of course they need to be) For example the fight scene and race scene at the beginning were amazing fast-paced scenes and then Spielberg knew to slow it down during the final key scene and other important moments. It’s just such an entertaining movie with great characters and a beautiful underlying message  I understand that this movie may not be a “good representation of the book” but who cares Who reads books anyway If this movie stood by itself without a book it’d be thought of way differently I know this is a hot take but this is why these are My rankings
